The game titled “What are You Doing” included designers Hannah Faub, Eric Garcia, Steven Handy, and Erin Johnson. Together they developed a card game modeled after the card game Uno. The research involved basket patterns unique to the Eastern Band of the Cherokee and designs for the playing cards. Developing a concept for the games in which the characters (the pronouns) are represented as animals. The team researched animals that are native within the Qualla Boundary in Cherokee, NC, and brainstormed on different activities the animals would engage in.
